Unforgettable Winter Outing for Sydney’s Indian Seniors in collaboration with AASHA

On a crisp winter morning, participants gathered near riverside under clear blue skies in Drummoyne at Scalabrini Harbourside location. The day kicked off with warm morning tea, where everyone had the chance to catch up and enjoy freshly baked treats. Soon after, the karaoke machine fired up and voices rang out as attendees belted their favourite classics. It's proof that age is no barrier to a little musical fun!

Casting Lines & Creating Smiles
Next up was the fishing session at the harbourside. A perfect way to embrace the winter sun. Mervin became a fisherman for the day, proudly reeling in his catch and sharing smiles with fellow participants.
Alongside the excitement of fishing, there was plenty of time for dancing and lunch, where aromatic Indian dishes warmed hearts and bellies alike. It was an opportunity for seniors to relive fond memories, forge new friendships and simply enjoy life outside the home.
